Water treatment

sigma group water treatment

Sigma Group offers two solutions for stone water treatment, the 'big bag' sludge depuration system, and the 'filter press' depuration system; both of which are built to the high-quality standards that Sigma's reputation was built upon, using premium materials for longevity, such as stainless steel, where competitors may opt for cheaper, regular steel.

Big Bag Depuration

The "DEP" depuration system solves the problems connected with sewage-waters depuration, in accord to the laws for the protection of bodies of water from the pollution and the obligations of discharging the clarified waters. The depuration of muddy waters takes place by separating the solid material from that in suspension, through the dynamic system and the possible use of chemical additives. The clarification procedure will cause a thickening of semi-liquid mud at the bottom of the decanter; such sludge will be then extracted and dehydrated through the filtering bags, by making it ready to be discharged. In brief, the "DEP" system solves completely both the problem of water clarification, that of sludge discharge.

Filter Press

The filter press, by Sigma Group known as the ‘COMBI‘ is a reclamation plant for residual water coming from the production of marble and other stones. The plant is formed by a tower shaped purifier and filter press. Available in a wide variety of configuration sizes, from smaller plants, to large plants for vast production facilities; whatever it is you need, we’ve got it covered.
